LOG MODE

This field contains the value of the Mode option, which was entered in the Report/Log Default Values fields in system administration, for error and modification logs. LOG MODE indicates whether the file will be held in the print queue, spooled directly to the printer, or kept in the user's print library instead of being directed to the print queue. The system-wide defaults for these values are entered in the System Parameters file. These values can be overridden for each new application, database, and user.

SET      --- LOG MODE                   =      HOLD

Default Value: Taken from system administration files.

Valid Values:

HOLD (hold in the print queue until an operator releases it)

SPOOL (spool directly to the printer)

KEEP (place in user's print library, not print queue)
